Ping Eye 2. So I recently got a set of Ping Eye 2 red dot's off of eBay to replace my Tommy Armour 845's that I have used for the past 10 years. I have always wanted a set of Eye 2's and figured I might as well give them a shot. I'm going to regrip them within the next couple of days, as soon as the Black Widow grips come in that I ordered.

Are ping eye 2 irons still good. Anyway. I'm researching, and I come across the Ping Eye 2 iron lineup. Some of them get good reviews, but the best reviews are for a pretty exotic, non-currently-produced alloy. The ones made of Beryllium Copper (BeCu), of course. These irons apparently have a cult following... and they've convinced me that these are the ones.

The original Ping Eye 2 irons with the ZZ Lite shaft at standard playing length with a standard weight grip had a swingweight of C9. If you buy them today (you can still order the Ping Eye 2 from Ping, I beleive) I am not sure what it would be without researching what the shaft options are. So, the swingweight might be different.
