The Proofhouse hasn't been much good in determining the year of manufacture. The serial number is 36272U. Can someone give me a hand with this one?, I recorded a new production Colt SAA (4-3/4 inch Barrel, .45 Colt, Color Case Hardened & Blue) in February 2014 with serial number S73549A. From the serial number data I have it appears that recent annual production quantities are in the range of 2,700 revolvers annually (225 per calendar month) for the years 2011, 2012 & 2013. J.D. Press
