Feb 10, 2015 · The Mec progressives (grabber and 9000) are not designed to be changed from one gauge to another. Technically it could be done but it would be a BIG job and require an extensive batch of parts. Since Mec does NOT intend it to be done, the parts needed to do it are not sold as a set or kit. 16 gauge is a possible problem.

But,I have made alot of Grabbers auto-eject by machining the base. and adding the 9000's carrier plate,outside guide ring and chute. Load a shell and watch the wad pressure indicator, what you want is for it to just barely move. Adjust as many times as required until the indicator just moves slightly.
