May 10, 2010 · Does anyone know of an alternative to the Pure Polaris AGL Synthetic Gearcase Oil? I should hit 1000 miles by June and want to get the break-in lubes out. So far I have only found two alternatives that IMO that are of equal or better quality. Amsoil 2000 TCC and Klotz Graphlite. Both are more expensive than AGL and not readily available in my area.

A big job to replace. I like running ATF +4 in them. Dodge ATF. They are a big transfer case. You can use 30 HD oil too. Polaris rips you about $14 a qt for thier AGL oil for gear case oil. I had over 30 Polaris and had no trouble with ATF or 30 HD in the chain case.
