Sig p365 slide catch lever problems

Putting a round in the chamber and releasing the slide from slide lock has been a universally accepted no-no for decades. In any event, Section 4.4 of the Sig P365 instruction manual states the correct manner of loading the pistol. It starts with an empty gun and locking the slide open using the slide catch lever. Then insert a loaded magazine.

There is a sticking point on the P365 for disassembly and reassembly. There is a dedicated page in my Owner's Manual for it. There is an internal safety lever that must be pressed down in order to remove the slide or get the slide reinstalled.
