Simple 2x4 shelves. For light weight shelves this is still over build in many cases and then I rip the 2x4s in thirds. This is what I will do for this set of shelves. With the plywood and 2x4 cut I lay the shelf out on sawhorses and clamp the ripped 2x4 to the bottom of the shelf. I carefully line up the 2x4 section and clamp into place.
